Caring for the carer

Take time out to care for yourself… if you can’t care for yourself, it is difficult to care for others.


Imagine giving yourself permission for a fifteen minute break, time to reset, time to take a breath and start again from where you are in your day.


Feeling overwhelmed; stop and reset, look out the window, gaze at the view or have a drink of water to help your brain and body function normally.


Practice this small grounding technique as often as required as you are important and you are needed by someone important to you.
